As the title implies, ABC was curious as to what our customers would do if they overheard another customer trying to sell us what they knew was a fake item.

One of the fake items was a Rolex watch and the other was an autographed Mickey Mantle baseball.

Gold Coast Jewelry & Pawn was voted Best Pawn Shop of Long Island.  We are appreciative of all those who took the time to cast their votes.

This year has been very exciting.

Newsday wrote a complimentary feature article on Gold Coast, and detailed specifically how our company is contributing to the needs of its community.  We are an upscale pawn shop, and since opening our doors to its customers, have helped many businessmen in their time of need.

Channel 55 aired an interview featuring Gold Coast, and focused on how our business contributes to the needs of its neighbors, especially in todays fragile economic times.

Most recently our company was sought out by a leading financial magazine in Denmark.  After doing an extensive internet search on pawn shops in New York, the editors of the Denmark magazine chose Gold Coast Jewelry & Pawn to use as their model for upscale pawn shops.

Pawn shops are scarce in Denmark, and unfortunately carry with them a negative stigma.  The editors goal was to shed light on the idea that pawn shops are in fact reputable businesses with the ability to help people who might find themselves in a financial crisis. After spending an entire day with us in our shop, the writer and photographer from Denmark were happily surprised at how positive, friendly, professional, safe and courteous a pawn shop could be.
